Somewhere in mid 2003, I released this album with cover versions of Iron Maiden songs. It was received pretty well. There's a cd version with all 14 versions and a 12" with 4 tracks of this madness as well. I've been a metal fan pretty much all of my life, but to be able to drag respected artists like Legowelt, Acid Junkies, Imatran Voima, Rude 66, Luke Eargoggle and all of them with me into this fiery pit of mental instability was pretty cool.

I only just found out that Platzgumer was one of the band members of H.P. Zinker by the way, a band I loved and that Kitbuilders also have a cover version of 'In The Year 3535' which was voted worst song of all time many times, but I love. A compilation made with love, that still has all the ability to shock your metal head friends and boost party pleasure on family gatherings and late night drinking with friends. Check it out, it's just too good not to share with you.

My last memory about this record (its been 20 years) is that I went to a show of Paul Di'Anno's Battlefield in the middle of nowhere with a mate to ask Paul to write some words for the sleeve, which he did!

'This album is fucking Mega, and it brought a smile to my face immediately. Great to hear someone trying a different and imaginative approach like this, and the track Killers is totally awesome. All the Maiden fans will need to use air synths to this. Great work with a hint of a laugh throughout'
