UK's Slavestudios strikes back with a massive selection of hard hitting tunes. A blend of hardware and computer arrangement, his sound is most definitely a UK via Detroit one. Or Detroit via UK. Slight traces of early rave and the early 90's wave of English Detroit worship can be found throughout, but in a beefed up sound that takes no prisoners.

There's melodies and swing, unexpected breaks and just overall top notch production. For me, this is what techno should be. A modern sound with one foot in its early black tradition of futurism. And is that an 808 State sample in 'Original Duplicate'? Or just a nod to those legends in their early days back when A Guy Called Gerald was still a member? Enjoy this EP and feel and hear what techno still can be today. An uplifting, joyous, futurist celebration!
