Anybody that has been following the label must know by now we are really in love with 90's IDM. The golden age of UK IDM, with folks like B12, The Black Dog, ART, Kirk Degorgio, Global Communications and even early Aphex Twin. Melodic dance music with break beats, or programmed breaks on drum machines, trying to get all futuristic and 4th dimension on us. That's why it makes me extremely happy to receive tracks like these.

Quarter Pounder is a soft spoken, easy going guy in his 40's (I think), that's just making music in his attic room for fun. Sending out tracks to mates occasionally and, in this case, one of them telling him to send it to me. I instantly liked these cuts, they are retro futuristic by now and have a certain bluntness to them that combines very well with the lush and sweet melodies. Some of these beats are straight out of AFX's early playbook and they are SUPERB. Nice music for nice people. How about that!
