Heat Kernel presents her new EP 'Diffusive Loops'. Hard, driving techno with a propulsive, pure techno vibe. This one goes back to the louder stuff that was released in the mid 90's, back when techno and hardcore were fusing hybrids that made people lose their minds. Well produced, heavy acid vibes throughout and that steady pounding 909 kick places in the long heritage of sublime acid techno and hardcore acid crossovers.

One could've been fooled to be listening to Parkzicht, Rotterdam's anthems by Speedy J, Armando or Human Resource, but without the cheesy hit crossovers. This was the sound at peak time, dead of night when the zombies were swarming the parking lot and getting their tracksuits on. Don't mistake this for gabber though, because its not. But it does remind me of a time and place where the lines were blurred between techno and hardcore and anything was possible. Check out HEAT KERNEL!
