Watchers are machines used by the DCS, or Department of Control and Supervision, in the deepest reaches of New York. Criminals, exiles, or political prisoners are watched by these robots, who search the underground for any evidence or sensitive data. These machines constantly send information to the CONSAT-3 military satellite, which, in turn, feeds iSys artificial intelligence with updates on vital conditions, geolocation, network navigation records, voice use, or even sophisticated details of the monitored subjects' brain activity. Observers are huge armored spheres, with several tentacles equipped with devices that capture audio, video and thermal images. Some are equipped with suppression firearms, but all have powerful tasers and small electromagnetic pulse cannons.
