After dropping fire EP's on the likes of Brain Food Records, Stomp House Records, House Place Records and Starlight Recordings, Blamhaus finally drops a hard hitting 4 track EP on the NYH mothership. Influenced by mostly first wave artists he's distilling classic house vibes through classic UK and diaspora genres like bassline and UK Funky. It's hard to imagine this coming from anywhere else but the UK.

Production on all tracks is top notch and sludgy 909 kicks do battle with garage percussion, jungle breaks and bleepy synth lines. Don't lump this EP in with blatant retro love though. This sounds modern and funky without all the cliches. Don't expect any airhorns here, although he does flip a 'move your body' sample. All jokes aside, this is superb friday night on the town music, house all night long music, dance with a stranger music. Check out this awesome EP and go move your body!
