Effort initiators have been collaborating since 2012 - Halvtrak of Tampere, Finland meets AECK of Lakeport, California. Energy recycling, surreal synthesizer spirit siblings that still haven't even ever met in the physical realm. Hardware worshipers from opposite sides of the globe who were lucky enough to have the same drum machine and the same will to not crumble.

Outsider Scientists is a collection of acid house and strange techno tracks from over the years where the satire of life, which routinely encourages being incapacitated by situation and circumstance in spite of intention, is recognized. Join Effort Initiators as they imagine being in the same lab at the same time, concocting audio illusions with their renegade science. Featuring eclectic remixes from Effort Initiators very own AECK, the anonymous administrations of Sgt Beefsteak Mahoney, and extended acid soundscapes from the unsung design-mastermind Magicsilverbox. This is a release that's all about the enjoyment of making great music together. With a world apart.
