Felipe Vaz is a Brazilian sound artist, researcher and new media producer living in Berlin. His works are mostly based on temporal processes and conceptual issues related to sound and music, and have been presented in galleries and shows such as Casa Encendida (Madrid), Acud Macht Neu and Transmediale Vorspiel (Berlin), Novas Frequências (Rio de Janeiro), Caixa Biennale for New Artists (multiple cities in Brazil), Fundação Iberê Camargo (Porto Alegre), Mixtur and Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona), La Maudite (Paris) and several radio shows.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Sound Art from the University of Barcelona and recently finished the Sound Studies master degree at Universität der Künste Berlin. This debut album is more than just a jab at Mark Fell, it's intricate programming leaves room for some emo sounding synths, seldom heard in this level of abstract electronics. We tried to get Mark Fell to tell us if these tracks were really Just A Bit / Almost / Somewhat etc in his style, but he wouldn't reply. So just take my word for it. They do.
