Ober Dada is a Moscow based producer, who combines heavy techno drum parts and abstract modular synths. On the tail of his two vinyls on Spanish Oraculo records and Manhigh Records, he drops his debut EP on NYH. His music sounds like minimal techno on steroids. Strange modular bimps and blurps get pushed forward by skeletal, boosted drums.

This Teknologist EP by Ober Dada is inspired by a dream about future. In a singularity where time and space don’t exist, there is only you and eternity that makes you dance. It really sounds more like a fever dream than anything else, or a drunk, peak hour night where you've lost your friends hours ago.

I like that this EP is unpredictable and almost unclassifiable. Of course it's great techno, but it has an elusive quality that's kind of annoying because you can't really pinpoint what's going on. Do yourself a favor and check it out!
