Nd:YAG has been dropping some fire this last year with awesome releases on Superpang and Standard tapes. This is the next chapter in their conquering quest, a blistering set of crunchy electronics for NYH! 'Glitch & Clamour' is full of experimentalism of the highest order. Razor sharp edits get twisted and turned by melodic passages that evaporate into thin air and sometimes come back in full sight. Heavy rhythmic elements push everything forward until they bring everything down to a grinding halt.

I'm proud that in recent years, NYH has become a beacon in the fog for some, where the expectation is never what you get. The subtle sound of this EP is unlike anything we have done before. It's not ambient or drone, nor is it the heavy IDM and algorave we've pushed before. Its like a breath of fresh air, needed in these times of stale recycling of ideas and sounds. Nd:YAG pushes their musical boundaries with nothing but the best results. Superb listening music for troubling times!
