NITRIC is an alias of Dutch visual artist and singer songgrinder Quinten Dierick. Known for his highly experimental output in any discipline, NITRIC might be high most accessible form yet. That is.. If you like your machine music lengthy, naive and forceful. Like we do!

This is proto techno at its best. Not restrained by genre idiom, but looking for a drive that is overpowering. Deep blurpy synths and primitive rhythms go hand in hand on this superb EP. Also gets award for most misleading title of the year :-)

Another really well produced EP on Brokntoys. Four beautiful tracks, each one a catchy Ohrwurm, so it's hard for me to choose a favorite (again). Personally, the soundscape totally reminds me of the mid-90s. Modern electro mixes perfectly with IDM elements. Wonderfully done. Thank you for this beautiful work. My rating 4.75/5 quzani
