Danford Data Systems sent over a bunch of tracks a few months back, and I noticed I kept coming back to them. There's something strange... off.. about this music... It's like the music itself is drunk. It's hard for me to place a genre or even similar artists next to it which is always a good thing. Don't get me wrong, this is repetitive electronic music that certainly has techno in its veins.

But the tempo's are weird and varied and I can't seem to grasp what's going on completely when I'm listening to these. Percussion seems to pitch up and down and sometimes disappears, synth lines seem to be slightly off-rhythm. It's like the whole thing, the whole track is a bit hazy, shaky, loose... I love that bit of mystery in music, plus the added bonus of never being able to grasp what the producer intended. If you are anything like me, this will sink its fangs in your mind... Check it out!
