Sometimes music can be so forceful, so perfectly timed and filled with such urgency that you want everybody to hear it. This is really true of the entire NYH catalogue, but specifically true of this new EP by UK chaos mongers Beckton Alps2.

Wielding a small selection of samples and an axe to pick with most of the world at any given time, Beckton Alps2 swerve between a sort of blackened no wave and power electronics. Fueled by screeching vocals and minimalistic rhythms, with a timeless sort of anger propelling the tracks, its not hard to like these tracks. For me it's another perfect example of modern electronic music with it's own sound. Not falling in line with the rest, not following others, but carving its own path through the sludge. Antifascist industrial pop perfection.
