Hi-octane old school electro with a funky metallic edge. That would be the very best description I can give of this awesome Konerytmi EP. References to the awesome Elektroids album on Warp and even further back to Kraftwerk's classics, updated by great production and analogue sounding drum machines from yesteryear. A colder, mor static version of AUX88 with a distinct no-wave 1987 electro feel somehow.

Konerytmi is the brain child of Kirill Junolainen, a Russian producer born in 1977, now based in Turku (Finland) and Saint Petersburg (Russia). He is the founder of Datarocket Records, Lasergum Records and Intraflex Records and a one man electro production powerhouse! Since 2010 he's been releasing a steady stream of electro and electro techno hybrids on all sorts of different labels fro around the world and we are happy he sent us this collection of inspiring, rubbery and most of all funky electro jams. Get ready to pop and lock!

Another really well produced EP on Brokntoys. Four beautiful tracks, each one a catchy Ohrwurm, so it's hard for me to choose a favorite (again). Personally, the soundscape totally reminds me of the mid-90s. Modern electro mixes perfectly with IDM elements. Wonderfully done. Thank you for this beautiful work. My rating 4.75/5 quzani
