Producer, label owner, writer and poet, Oscar Wyers is a man of many creative hats. His music is always kind of club oriented music with a wayward twist. For his NYH debut Wyers reaches deep into the colorful gift bag of acid. These 6 cuts are some heavy duty experimentalism, yet also have a solid form and function. The squiggly acid bassline of the 303 or equivalent give it an instant connotation of timelessness, the void of space and the void in your head when you are physically moving to the music.

Wyers is a prolific artist and I a happy he reached out to me for this EP, because it fits our sound and esthetic, but he really has been making great music since 2013. Also check out his other projects and collaborations like Syntax Pony with Peter Nijland, and Ralf & Oscar with Ralf Gerritse. Wyers runs the very cool Oggy Records, a small label focussed on releasing experimental music, weird stuff, noise and deviant techno.
