French industrial techno producer Babaal makes his glorious debut on NYH! Aided and assisted by fellow hardcore visionary Kuvera B, we got sent this deep, heavy, brick-in-your-face, airplane crash, abyss-staring-back-at-you EP with 5 originals and 2 heavy duty remixes. Babaal already made quite the impression with his cuts on ITU (Industrial Techno United), but has now seemingly found his own, unique corner in the overcrowded industrial techno wave.

Listen to the superb sound design in the opening track or the stuttering metal falling from skyscraper sounds on the second track and you'll get what I am saying. Drum programming is immaculate and precise, but the real treat is the layers of percussion, drone, noise and clanging weird breaks above. A lot slower than his previous work, this EP and its perfect layers of sound are a massive step forward for an already well above average producer! Take your time to visit the void. And take a friend...
